Research direction 1. Low-temperature plasma processing technology for solar cells
Study the influence mechanism of plasma treatment on the surface of the solar cell, such as surface texturing, surface modification and passivation, surface phosphorus impurity distribution and surface contamination cleaning, thus effectively improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of silicon solar cells.
Research direction 2. Novel photoelectric film and photovoltaic materials and devices
Develop organic and inorganic hybrid perovskite photoelectric crystal materials with excellent performance; fabricate novel thin-film solar cells with low-cost technology such as cuprous oxide and copper indium tin solar cells; develop new photoelectric materials; improve the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of new oxide materials and develop new flexible oxide thin-film transistors.
Research direction 3. Basic research on photoelectric information processing and photobiosafety
Study visible light communication technology with illumination function (LED light source optimization); develop non-destructive detection and fault diagnosis technology based on big data technology; develop digital image processing and video analysis related technologies; study the method for accurate LED spectrum measurement and photobiosafety changes in different conditions.
Research direction 4. Laser light source development and intelligent control
Develop novel ultra-fast solid-state laser and study laser modification of diamond to improve turning tool life.
